All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

I didn't know that there were riding reviews out already.  Most I've been finding are just press "first looks" and re-hashing the factory press release stuff.  Does look like it might bear further scrutiny. Just for fun anyway.

I think it's kind of neat that triples are starting to come back.  Triumph / BSA ran them back in 1970 but they didn't go anywhere or save those companies at the time.

MSRP is $7995, so I'm guessing out the door should be around $9.5k...

South Seas says the 848 is fixed.  Fuel hose came off the fuel pump. Hose back on with new improved clamp that should never fail again they say.  Will be picking it up tomorrow morning weather permitting.   Dolph

I see.  Well, not yet actually, I'll have to wait until I get home.   Grin   It looks like the MT-09 is the Euro version and the FZ-09 is the US version? ?    Is that correct?

So, I haven't kept up w/ WSBK races this seasn (shame on me)...any recommendations for top 2 or 3 races I should watch?  I'm downloading the last week's WSBK race tonight.

I've finished safety wiring my bike...wasted a lot of wire to make it look pretty in the process  bang head, but I improved w/ each time...I'm jonesing for the next track day!  I hope you guys enjoy your JJ run today (sans Fighter Pilot- have fun autocrossing the Beemah)...the weather looks nice today on Oahu today...partly cloudy w/ 10-20% of rain.   bow down

Did A little work yesterday.  The exhaust cans that were supposed to be on the 848 almost two years ago finally made it to the bike.

And a little bling candy on the sides

I know...and I still feel terrible about not swapping out the exhaust if he didn't already see the bike w/ them!  Norm has quite an interesting bike collection in his stable...along with a well kept NSX!  Congrats on the sale!

Yep...that's my old 1198 (Bella), she still has a special place in my heart!  While I love my S1000RR (Ingrid), Bella is the bike MD taught me how to do basic fluid maint and suspension adjustments on...he created a monster!

Now I'm safety wiring, removing/installing my wheels and tires (friend has a no-mar tire changer), changing break pads!  All simple things to many, but above and beyond the level of understanding I had in 2010!  I'm now helping other fellow newbies at the track that are in a bind (scary)!

The NSX is sexy and practically spotless!   chug
