Finally got the tank off of my monster, now I just need to wait a couple of month for it to shrink down.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It shrinks?

Yup.  After the tank has dried out, the moister in the polymids will slowly evaporate, and the tank will return to its normal size/shape.

The state is about to rescind the law that requires ethanol in our gasoline, maybe you won't have to coat your tank... Grin

Does Aloha still sell pure gas at the marinas?

Not sure if it's aloha, but I believe someone does...I think there's a couple of other stations where you can get ethanol free gas, but it's only 89 octane...

The coating probably won't hurt, as there is likely a large stock of existing ethanolized fuel sitting around which will have to be sold off before you start seeing pure gas available.  And that's IF the local stores decide to alter their ordering procedures.

I sure as heck would do the Caswell treatment!

I might as well.  As for the sleep, its definitely not enough.  2 hr increments are just not a good way to sleep.  Can't wait for his solid food days!

Will it shrink any if I just switch to non-ethanol gas?  The 76 in Pearl City sells it and I use it exclusively for my boat.

It may once the ethanol is used up.  I looked for non-ethanol gas when I still had the Duc, but couldn't find 91/92 octane...
