Got my Daytona fixed!!!   wt:  But, they did not flash the ecu with the new code.  Sad  The lead tech said that everyone who had that map loaded complained about low rpm stuttering and ended up going back to stock.  Kind of sucks considering that this is my "fun" bike and I don't really worry about low speed stuff on it now seeing how I commute on the Duc...

Today is children's mental health awareness day, so I got up early and did some sign waving at the Capitol.  I'll be there again this afternoon from about 3:45 'til 5:30.  If you guys see us waving signs, please give a honk!

Speaking of 5:30, that would be a sweet time to swing over to la mariana!  Grin

Finally got the chance to open the Daytona up today.  Ripped it up to around 8000+ and ended up topping out around 115.  Cheesy

I got the clutch fixed on the 999 and did some hard pulls down the highway. No comment about the speed but the clutch didn't slip.  wt:  The immobilizer continues to plague it still. (675???)  Good thing the Monster runs so sweet right now. Ran it up to 9K in the first three gears tonight coming home.  Thought I'd serenade Enchanted Lakes with a different tune than they usually hear.  :e:v  Earplugs are in order. (675???)

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Yep.  Was tempted to take it higher, but didn't really want to peg the motor too high quite yet.  This thing is geared REALLY low!

Today I went to Domenico's and looked at another Nightster.  This one was all black.  There was also a 1200 Sportster in the 105th Anniversary livery.  I have to say that I didn't like the Nighster in all black.

Later in the afternoon, I bought a  . . . . . suit.   Shocked Shocked Shocked  I haven't owned one in years and haven't worn one for as far back as i can recall off hand.  BUT, we have this mainland wedding to go to so I had to get one.  I don't think the bride and groom would appreciate me showing up in an aloha shirt and khakis!

I can only hope that once your bike is run in it doesn't sound like a damn fog horn while you're on it...  Grin
