All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

It runs. Smoothly so far but it's only had to handle an idle and some minor throttle blips. No fuel leaks. The PC3 lights up and the green light moves up and down the light bar strip so I assume that it's working. No error code lights flashing either. So far so good. There is a minor bit of smoke that comes out the tailpipe after revving the engine but I don't know if that's some packing burning off or a bit of unburned gas that's not black colored. Never saw any oil smoke out of the old pipe so I don't think it's oil related but then again the oil was just changed and it might be the synthetic oil not sealing off completely and burning a bit. I saw that happen with my friends Hypermotard. It did the same thing only worse than what mine is doing. The smoking went away on the HM.

As for the sound it's deeper than the old pipes but not in any way too loud or obnoxious. That's a good thing. The Monster is still far and away lots louder and Ben's SC still gets first prize. So far this setup might even be quieter than the Daytona. We'll see. I'll finish putting the body work on tomorrow and then give it a spin to see how it does on the road.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Let me know when you are taking it out.  I want to bring the Daytona back out again so I can scrub the rear tire in some more.  Plus, I think this thing got a little deeper with the new tune.  I know that the flapper valves on the intake and exhaust are being held open longer, so I can only imagine that is causing the new tone.

had an interesting convo w/my WL about my health.

I should be tickled that one person in the mgmt chain pretends to care if I'm well or not.

or maybe he just didn't like me coughing on all the phones  Evil

neato!

we're under the microscope.  apparently the higher-ups don't think we have enough to do.  there's me and 3 e-6s filling a 6 chief billeted job.  they're still right, of course.  though, it should be noted, one of the other sites has 11 chiefs and 1 e-6 doing the same job. laughingdp
