Got back from Kabul last night.  Almost got caught up in an IED blast on saturday while trying to go visit the NORSOF guys.  Boy was that fun!  lol

Flying out to Bamyan tomorrow.  Hopefully I will have a chance to go see the remains of the giant Buddha statues out there...

On Wednesday; climbed to the top of an old Hazara fortress that was once occupied by Genghis Khan, out near Bamyan.  Good god the air was thin up there!!

Nothing quite that cool.

Rode biciclette to work with broken toe
got a flat with no spare or air
found out my toe isn't broken, just dislocated
got it relocated.  no whiskey, nothing to bite down on

Now you're a part of world history in a small but still significant way. How's that?

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.
