My other award for the hard work that i've done over the past 2.5 years with my infantry company got downgraded. boo on assigning awards to rank. I'm not a high enough rank to get the award that they thought I deserved. it's ok, the one I got the other day will more than make up the difference. Hope i get promoted at my next unit dammit.

Saturday evening. 5pm. After a day in the office catching up with paperwork and a fruitless effort at shipping paintings with FedEx my downhill slide is about to begin.  drink

Something like that. At the moment I am scheduled to fly out of here on the 17th. Probably have a day or two in Doha, followed by a few days back in DC, then back home.

Went to see "Hangover" at Mililani theater.  On my way home some movement catches my eye & look down at the tach to see a gecko hangin' on for dear life (center of the tach glass @ 6400 rpm).  I don't get it but for some reason he's not too happy with the duc ride.  Makes his way down to the key and I lost sight of him after that.  Figure if he made his way out across the tank it couldn't have gone too well.  Hittin the H2 grooves at 80...um I mean 55 mph aint my idea of fun.  He wasn't wearing a helmet but least he had his leathers on.

Do you think that you'll get a chance to test ride some Ducs in DC while you're there?  I know you don't have gear with you but I figure that a man of your talents could work out a solution.
