Actually I kinda wouldn't mind doing a dawn patrol ride down the North Shore-Windward Coast (breakfast @ Brent's) but that means I might have to curtail my standard Sat. night activities.  Grin

Damn man, Sunday Brents breakfast ride sounds F'ing fantastic right about now!!  You have NO idea how much I miss that!

I still don't know how long it will take for my bike to get there yet. I'm getting the runaround from transportation among other offices.

Welcome to the glorious world of PCS'ing.  I had the same thing when I moved from Germany to Hawaii.  They told me that it would likely be two to three MONTHS for the house-hold goods to get there, due to it being on the slow boat.  But my folks got a call, before Alex and I even left Germany, stating that our stuff had arrived and they wanted to drop it off RIGHT THEN.  lol  But on the flip side, it took from mid February to late May for the BMW that I had to make it the same distance.

Did you already ship the bike with your house-hold goods?  I shipped a bike down to the islands from Michigan through commercial means, and it only took like a week and a half.

I am shipping the bike with the household goods, and our cage on the boat. hope they show up soon. I hate not having wheels.

cooking dinner on saturday.

99% I end up unhappy with my final product... things could always be better... so when I actually get something wrong, even if I'm test driving a new recipe, I still get pretty bent

You aren't a professional chef, you lack years of training and practice, yet you compare your results to what you eat in their restaurants.  You are asking for misery.  As long as the people you are cooking for are happy, you need to find a way to be happy too.

Yer not a professional moto rider, yet you can be happy riding...

I just always see room for improvement... it's not like I've eaten at, say, emeril's or anything to try and compare to, nor do I pretend that I can cook on the same planet as mavro.  I'm just competetive... internally.  I was like that with school, hockey, paintball, riding, cooking. doesn't matter what I do, I can always do it better.

True, I have been quite disappointed at times, but I'll still eat it.

And complain about it.  Grin
