Especially once Alex decided to try and blow up the house. A mild exaggeration; more like burn the yard. and maybe fence. and dog.

Got up before dawn and drove from east texas to home in tennessee. ran into really shitty weather in arkansas, turning my 10 hour trip into a 13 hour trip.

I submitted the leave in advance, and my WL said he would enter it on the computer, no problem.
this morning, my sup's all "hey, you gotta call in if you're going to take off work"
paper trail is on my side, at least, but it's still annoying

Did a three quarter lap today, with heavy focus on snake and norfolk.

Prepped the bike for transport to the island. She fought me every step of the way. Stock mirrors are seized to the clamps, battery terminals broke off the battery during removal. don't know if I got all the fuel out, and spilled oil on the floor. FML. At least she didn't catch on fire yet.
