I never post and usually just lurk but I have a question....I just re-enlisted and getting my bonus on Friday, is worth it to trade in my monster for an 848 (Mac's review has me hooked....) Any comments will be welcomed (and I love the NH 848 since my wife got me the watch I figure I might as well get the matching bike!  Wink ) due to my re-up, money is no prob (yeah!!!!)...I know the NH is not even close to an S/R but what do you guys think? plus what would I need to get for it? Thanks!

Not.  But, of course, I'm biased. Ride it & then make up your mind. Dare you?

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I happen to like enablers....but seriously is the NH worth it (other than the fancy schmancy paint job?)

ummm... isn't the price FOR the fancy shmancy paintjob?

wait, I forgot... 620 capirex can do 140mph... so the hayden 848 can prolly hit 11TB

you should buy it. any price on that level of performance is a dang value!

Go take a look at it if you think you want one.  Last I heard, South Seas had two more, but they will probably go fast.  Keep one thing in mind, the 848 (or any SBK for that matter) won't be anywhere near as comfortable as your monster, but they are sweet bikes if you are ok with that.

Test drove an '08 135i with all the BMW factory performance options.  Car had just over 8000 miles on it and the dealer is asking $32777 for it.  Car drove nice but not really sure if its lack of interior space would fit my needs.

Almost thinking a new '10 4dr GTI would just almost just as much car for less money...
