I SOOOOOOO wanted those.  Oh sweet jeezus on a vienna sausage I wanted those.  Why do I allow my sensible side to ever say anything?

So I picked up the bike today and now I got a bunch of parts to put on (belly pan, signals, exhaust, fender eliminator, etc...)
I am giddy with excitement...also ordered a carbon fiber "shorty" rear hugger...and I got the extra headlight bracket in the mail (to see if I can lower the headlight/gauges)...
So exciting...

+1

Corollary ------ Importance plus necessary does not have to equal worth. (As some others of us also find out) --  T'would be a grand world if there was no suckiness.

Lowered gauges and headlight...that was a little more complicated than I thought but I got through it.  Completed the tail chop and it came out pretty nice if I say so myself.  Also started replacing the turn signals but still have all the wiring to do, hopefully can finish that tomorrow.  Started on the exhaust but I figure I'll just put that on hold until the rearsets get here (don't feel like doing that twice since they'll get here Friday plus I have to figure out how to disassemble the brake/gear pedals...)
