Spent the afternoon cleaning up a messy yard due to last night's wind...lost 5 apple banana trees, 2 bearing fruit... Sad

Got home at 8pm last night. It was gorgeous outside with no wind and a 3/4 moon overhead, clear as a bell with stars everywhere and that wonderful cool Hawaiian air. Said to the 848 "You want to go for a ride?" "Hell ya" it replied. "About damn time, where've you been?"  Grabbed the winter jacket and off we went. I could write poetry but think I'll spare ya'll. H3 up & down. Kaneohe and the bay sure are pretty in the moonlight. Memorable.  Evil

Find out if the leak was caused by tank swelling.  If so, let me know.

Just got the words from Will, a crack in the fuel line. That means I maynot get it back until next year due to special order reqired for the parts.  Sad. I Also reported then tank swelling issue cause I couldn't even lift up the tank.  It was snugged against the key slot.

Bummer...surprised they don't have fuel line in stock, hope they can figured something out.

I think my replacement tank is in, just waiting for SSD to call...

Did Tantalus, Pali, 13 turns and Norfolk with Brandon and Rick this afternoon...felt bad about not giving you a call, don't feel so bad now knowing you couldn't of made it anyways... Grin

What year is your bike?  Is there some sort of special formed fuel hose on it?  I had a fuel line spraying gas all over the intake manifold and horizontal cyl head when I was taking Tori's 620 in for a safety inspection. I replaced all the external fuel hoses with bulk hose, meaning you cut the sections you need from a big roll of hose.
