Cleaned the bike, lubed the chain and tightened a few screws being rattled loose...it was quality bonding time.  Started packing for my trip back to DC...I'm hoping to get a Sunday morning ride-in before my mid-afternoon flight.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

We had some fun today.  Took a newbie over the Pali and around Norfolk and 13 turns and back over Pali.  Dropped them off at bottom of Pali and went to South Seas. Just 3 of us today. Me, Jing & Cary. Did a semi-sporting run over Tantalus, maybe a semi-sporting sporting run. Then out to Snake Road. Made a good call in not running up on one lone car on Pineapple Road. I thought it looked suspicious and the closer I got to it I thought I could make out a bubble gum ball on top and sure enough I was right.  Roll Eyes

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Just arrived in DC...jet lagged and trying to pry myself out of the hotel room to visit my folks before my team meeting tonight.  This place makes Waikiki and H-1 traffic look like a joke.
