Saw another MV Agusta F4, a white with red trim one, yesterday by Kapiolani Park when I was riding the Seven. The guy was even more aloha than the one we saw on H3. No helmet, t-shirt, shorts, slippers, no gloves. I had better gear on and I was on a bicycle.

Saw a red 996/8 heading up the Pali as I was stopped at the light coming out of 13turns about 4:30 today.

Classic famous last words. Worst accident on a bike I've ever had I was only going about 10 miles an hour. Drunk Jacka$$ comes flying around a tight corner, clips the curb on his side and flies into my lane hitting me head on, throwing me over the roof of his car (totaling my just paid off Honda Hawk GT650!). Landing on my face/head and shoulder I only received a broken right knee due to my Hein Gericke V-pilot jacket and full face helmet. Helmet cracked and face shield shattered. Now, I know some would argue that I obviously received some brain damage, but it could have been much worse!)
Long story short, I always wear full gear, even for "short" trips. Even the jeans I wear have CE approved knee and hip armor in them. Yes, riding with gear can be a bit uncomfortable, but so are the looks you get from people when you have no face........

I was just responding to the mindset of guys who refuse to wear gear because it's uncomfortable

Just saw a white 848 pulling out of Kaiser hospital, down the road from my house, while on my way home/enjoying the rain. Dude was all squidded out.

Probably that one that I saw with the LV exhaust on it. That system (with baffles) was almost louder than my Akra without.
