Saw a white Hypermotard heading into Kailua by Castle Hospital on my way home last night. The same guy passed me going into the Pali Tunnels townbound this morning on my way into work and kept getting glimpses of him almost all the way to the shop. I think he works over at the Hawaii 5-0 production lot at the old Advertiser building. I see that bike there a lot but just never saw it on the road before.

Sighted in the SSD service bay this morning, the craigslist 1199 Tricolore.  Evidently it went down at a walking pace on a slippery road, then down on the other side after it was uprighted...damage didn't look too bad, but it ain't worth $35K now...

Took a glance at the 1199 at SSD this morning, but couldn't see that much damage other than a rashed bar end...Shawn says it's $7800 worth and the owner has no insurance at all...sad

Liability, is mandatory.
Collision & comprehensive are elective... provided there is no bank lien on the bike.

I think most on here would agree ..... if that 1199 was theirs  it would be insured   Grin waytogo

The story has it that the owner had a crashed a high end Bimmer while DUI, had no license as a result and couldn't get/afford insurance.
