I used to leave notes on just about ever Duc, and sometimes Daytona, I saw.  Rarely heard anything back from the folks though, either on the phone or on here.

maybe you shouldn't start it w/"for a good time..."

I saw Ben's new axle in my backpack...........  Cool .............

Also saw my old 999 sitting in the back of the shop. Word is that it got knocked over at the parking lot where it lives. Gee, I thought it lived at the shop. Bad luck that bike.

I just walked into the Parts Dept. and Scott asked me if I was there to pick up the axle. Actually I was there to get well nuts for a fairing bracket I'm fabricating.

lol  Thanks.  There should be some fork legs on their way to you as well.  Now I just have to wait for the clip-ons to become available and we should be in business...

On our Sunday morning ride we caught up with a guy riding a tricked up Triumph Bonneville ('68 engine) with a Trackmaster frame. Looked like a barely street legal flat tracker and very cool. Twin discs up front & single disc in the back. It had 300 miles on the rebuilt engine. He wants to go with us next weekend so I'll take my camera and get some pics for you all. We had our usual Italian machinery but I think this bike was the coolest in the group.

It gets worse. I found out the bike was "totaled" .  I don't think the guy got anything close to what he was expecting though.  Now it has a salvage title and was carted off to the Auto Auction.  Definitely not buying that one back.
