Older?  Define older.

That would be like Gene and myself.

Remember that guy from New Year's Day?

Seems like a pretty good guy and he does have gear, Dainese, etc. but will admit to not wearing it all the time. The bike is an F4 R 312. He might come out on the Sunday ride.

Yea, I remember, but I think I was on the KTM that day, wasn't I?

Beats me. It's not like I have to keep track of which bike I'm riding anymore.  laughingdp

saw a white 848 in manana yesterday pretty nice bike, till i noticed all the oil leaking out from under it. then as i walked closer i saw that it was leaning at a pretty steep angle for being parked on level ground. then as i stood next to i realized that the front fender was all busted up and the kick stand was bent and cracked the engine case. at that moment i realized the bike was hit by a van.

as the denial started to fade away the reality  crept in i finally came to accept that this was in fact MY BIKE!!! and all i can assume is that the white van that i saw parked in front of me a 30 minutes earlier must have hit my bike when it was leaving. and ofcorse they didnt leave any contact info for me at all

Don't be alarmed here, but that might actually be a write off.  I can't imagine that you would be able to fix that thing cheaply.

That bike down there isn't an R.  It's an S Corse edition.  And not trying to say anything offensive, but that is one hell of a high performance machine.  Make sure you are ready for something like that before you think about biting that proverbial bullet.
