A bike like that, well....... someone had to pop sooner or later. I just hope it goes to a rider and not just someone that came up with the bucks but who can't, or won't, do anything with it.

Don't be alarmed here, but that might actually be a write off.  I can't imagine that you would be able to fix that thing cheaply.

after holding my breath all weekend waiting to see if it will be totaled.  i found out today that the fair market value of my bike in the state of Hawaii is $12,900. waytogo so ill be getting a check in the next few days to pay for the damages and ill get my bike back  Grin well that is as soon as Will can fix it. so hopefully soon enough my bike will be seen around the island again.

no bike content but I know there are a couple of bimmerheads here

Saw an E36 go kaboom yesterday on H1 west near Kaahumanu overpass. Radiator or expansion tank or hose. Steam aplenty.

I too had to change my expansion tank a while back. I broke my nipple. And steam was shooting out. Dramatic.

Yesterday at 1834, H1 east bound around Aala overpass, white 848.

Around 1430, it was gridlock going west between University and Lunalilo (accident). A Husky was being a great ambassador for the motorcycling community by splitting the lanes all the way until near the accident, where he got spooked by the cop and started behaving  Police
