Come to think about it....that could have been the lady instructor at the MSF ERC that Rick and I attended, she was on a new Monster IIRC...

about 4:45 white monster with a guy and girl on it heading in to town on the h1 bye the airport then very shortly after a red 999 blowing buy as well.

funny how many bikes you see while at a complete stop on the H1 during rush hour traffic

MSF instructor?  The Sunday morning ride?  Good mix you think?

I told her it is a bit "spirited" and she was down... i figure Emile will be too far in front for her to see what he does and she would probably hang in the back with us slower riders  Grin

That girl chopped me up at that course.  She wanted me to get that 848 into second gear at 20mph, kept saying to me "who rides around at 30mph in 1st".   Roll Eyes  Plus, you try to do a duck swerve at 10 mph with clip ons using the technique she described. ---- Hey, I got my card.  It might be interesting to have her along.  I dunno.

lol i wonder if she learned her lesson with ducs yet? even my 696 dont like anything under 20mph in first or any gear for that matter. ive been meaning to put a 14t sprocket on it to smooth it out for my gf... and maybe do some wheelies for me.

I don't think what she was saying has anything to do with brand of bike.  It's just that the MSF is so single-scope focused on their interpretation of the proper way to safely ride a motorcycle.  Remember guys, NEVER touch your brakes while you have the bike leaned over, even to the most minute degree.  You are guaranteed to crash if you do.

And don't slow and lean more if you're in too hot...just maintain your line, and go off the road... Shocked

ive met most of them outside of their safty instructions since ive been going to the process tech classes offered over there. and none of them seem to be "too" hardcore about practice what you preach. i think all in all  she will be just fine. i just enjoy poking a lil fun with every one.  but we shall see sunday.
