DesmoBob ---- Have you done a valve adjustment on your 999 yourself or did you have someone else do it? Have you had the valve clearances adjusted?

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Yeah I did it at home at almost exactly 6,000 miles. I installed the MBP collets at the same time.

This is the thread I posted and noticed you posted a reply:
http://www.ducati.ms/forums/showthread.php?t=28602

Also changed the belts since they were 4 years old.

Thank you for that.  My course of action is becoming more clear to me now.

Hey!  I was just going to ask that.  I'm down with it, but I figure it's really up to the folk that actually have to ride to get there.  Mac-ro?  Ben-Ben?  Mike, perhaps?

Seven thirty?  Should be able to make it by then.  If not, will be a few minutes after that...

I am trying hard to stay loyal with the Monster for tomorrow seeing as how no one else will have anything else.  But my heart tells me to take the Triumph...
