South Seas is just the meet up. There is no official dealership sanction. Jose' loosely organizes the ride and schedules it on the first Sat/Sun of each month by posting on Craigslist. It gets a better turn out than trying to get DMF folks together. You should come out.......

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori. Good people drink good beer. Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.
It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level. Everything else is just fluff.

What now?
I spy steel belting in the centerline. it's held pressure, but I find that a bit scary. haven't had the time/motivation to get it down to SS for a new tire. so it's been sittin', and now the chain looks pretty rusted out. was going to clean it today to see if it's just surface stuff, but I ended up shopping for bits to fix my stove and possibly a new W/D set

We had a good ride today. Met some new Kailua folks. One guy wrenches on his bike & his girl friend's bike. He found out I was similarly inclined and then asked "Do you drink beer?"

I think this guy, Steve, and his girl friend, Michelle, just might fit in with this group.

Maybe. I gave him the website and he's got my phone number. Who knows where it will, or won't, go from there?

Think I am going to try and make the early showing today. They are still meeting up around 0830 at Starbucks right?

Well frick. Here I went and slept in and haven't even started my normal Sunday morn routine that I ordinarily would have started an hour & a half ago to make the 8:30 ride. Hey, you were the one that said "let's start later in the morning." On that note I'm out the door to do chores. I won't make the 8:30 starting time. Call if you like.

No worries man, I just woke up feeling better than I thought I would. I'll still be out and riding though, just thought I would get an early start and extra seat time. What time do you think you'll be good to go?

So who is up for a ride this Sunday morning? Maybe make an early start and do a breakfast run out at Brent's?
