should be few of us out, depending on the weather of course...

forecast is for the upper level low that's been giving us the heavier showers the past few days to move out of our area tonight with the trades returning...trades will be moist though, with lots of moisture upstream...

Yup...something broke while we were on cane road, huge cloud of smoke, ala Spies at Indy...lucky we were straight up and down, as it oiled the right side of the rear tire pretty good.

All the Ducati's made the 1290SDR possible!

It was pretty good fun, almost like a homecoming in a way. Ranilo was there. Lester, Craig & Patrick showed and, to a point, we all rode together. The unpredictably wet roads helped to slow everyone down at times and crap shoot traffic slowed us some at other times. i didn't see Craig's engine blow but the cloud of smoke on Pineapple road was so thick that we thought it was a wet patch on the road from a small cloudburst. There was no mistaking the odor of burnt oil when passing through it and sure enough you could see smoke from Craig's bike.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

That would be wrong tires and what looked like a weird track surface. I bet mostly the latter.
