How did the welding go?...btw, you're not fabbing up that stretched swingarm for the 848 that you were talking about are you?... It went just fine right up until the end. Well, almost the end. I have a small bit to do over. I forgot that a big vice grip clamped onto the piece could be such a big hit sink when it's being held in a vice. I'm fabbing a tool to tighten down cylinder head nuts on Ducati's. You could use it to remove them too but this will work to get the proper down torque. Funny thing is that I don't know if I'll ever use it. Never say never. This is oxy/acetelyne welding. The swing arm takes TIG/MIG welding. That comes later. |
