That's what I did for a good portion of the afternoon too. This fabrication stuff is overrated.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

I figure you're coming up with a rather stealthy/svelte solution to a legal tail tidy, whereas mine is just cobbed together from leftover parts and looks rather homely... Sad

I wouldn't call it exactly svelte. All these tail tidys I do are variations of each other that sometimes are built a bit better than the previous ones. This one is not too bad, so far, except for how I treated the license plate itself, which is a bit ghetto and I'm not too proud about that. I'll have to think of something better (maybe) for the vanity plate.

Vanity plate?

Gloria keeps pushing me to do that again, so we'll see.  Haven't had one since I lost HOOLGN off the Monster on the Pali Hwy. years ago. That taught me a bit about metal fatigue on tail tidys.  Roll Eyes

Well guys, the third wave of rain is passing through Olomana as I type. The Koolau's have disappeared into clouds for the hour. We'll have to see what the morning brings.
