I so needed / need a ride today too! I worked all day yesterday underneath that E30 and got all the oil leaks fixed, I think....... all the big stuff is done now. Sure looks good under there with all new engine oil & trans oil cooler hoses. Resealed the oil filter housing & replaced the transmission filter too. The hard part is over. I think.
I tell you what though..... given the height that our lifts will bring the car up to I need to be shorter ...... Even at full up I am still bent over and cranking my neck sideways to reach up into the underdepths of the car. Sore like hell today.

What you need is a younger body...I'd get in line for one too, if they were passing them out...

Thought I saw Jing go by today as I was washing the car. I need a new body, yes, but since the likelihood of that happening is pretty much zilch I just discovered ibuprofen a couple days ago.

I made a request of Mother Nature for decent riding weather for tomorrow, but frankly I don't think she was paying attention...

There sems to be pretty good agreement that things will be getting wetter soon. Just the timing of when it all gets here & how much it will dump. Now I tried to get to the shop this morning to work on the white E30 but I got caught in the downtown logjam because of the Kam Day parade. Took me an hour and a half to get turned around, back up across the freeway and over to punchbowl where I could snake down Ward. THAT wiped out any work on the white car and that work NEEDS to be done. So tough call as to whether I ride tomorrow. I actually hope it's raining so I won't feel so bad missing out on riding or working on the car. We'll see how it looks in the AM but I do need to finish up that '87.

Like you say, things are in agreement for a showery day tomorrow. Even though I'm jonesing for a Sunday ride, I can go to my grandson's last flag fb game and hope for better weather next sunday...

It has been raining on & off this morning. I think it is just a bit of the "normal" stuff with a bit more than usual wet puffy clouds. I don't think this is what the weather people have been talking about but nevertheless the roads are all wet & shining. In places, dry in other places.

The NWS has been a bit ahead of themselves on the forecast for the increased shower activity, first it was Saturday, then Sat night, now this afternoon...radar shows lots of showers offshore moving northwesterly almost parallel to the islands, looks like it's only a matter of time...
