I never got my toaster from the old board even though it was long before the meltdown. "They" contacted me and promised me and everything. Nada.

Nope, I don't think it was Scott. It might have been Stu but I will not swear to that at all. It's possible that some old emails remain on TOB, I'll go look sometime but it's all moot anyway.

Pretty much. So, Jason (the guy I bought the SC from) just sent me pics of the 848 he just bought and was saying he got it WAY below MSRP. Kind of makes me wonder what sort of deal he could get me on one and how much I could sell my 675 to Rick for.

I don't know. For an intelligence analyst you've got this spun around a bit. I could be the one getting an 848 for all you know.

And you have all but come out and said that the 848 is most likely not in your future. But you did say that you would have jumped on a 675SE if you could.

Don't believe a word I say. I try to be rational but there is a wacko running around underneath it all.

So Rick, just you and I from here riding again this Sunday? I am going to try and get Mike and his buds from Kailua to come out and maybe one or two of the Daytona riders as well. Want to try the earlier time this go 'round?

How does the early Starbucks crew run sound to you? When they get too crazy we can go our own way. And it's not if they get crazy it's when. We could also just simply meet there and head out on our own too. If Alan 999 wants to go maybe we could meet up at the sport park. Just some suggestions.

I have never been able to get Walter to go on any group ride, ever. Small or large, it doesn't matter. He doesn't like group rides.

Group rides? Hell Rick, both of us know it will just be you and I that show up.
