If you see your buddy Rick with the 848 you should check with him on that.

Talked to him about it yesterday.  He said he was going to take it in to Will as soon as he could get a spot on the schedule.

It's 0 Dark Hundred and the roads over here are still wet. We had some pretty good showers here last night but the stars are out this morning. I'll check back in later but I don't see any advantage in going out too early.

Yea, sun is up and starting to warm/dry things out over here.  I'm going to have some brekkie and  coffee.  What time you thinking about?  0930ish?

9:30 -- 10:00 thereabouts.  The eastern end of the island is sunny & clear.  We had a 20 minute straight down big drop rain an hour or so ago but things are drying up now.  The trade winds have shut off which has made some picturesque sights of clouds over and below the tops of the Koolaus.  Kaneohe/Kahaluu was solid pitch black when I was leaving Kailua town a while ago. I don't know if that rain will carry over into Pearl City - Mililani as there is practically no wind to push it over there. We'll roll but no hurry eh? I guess try for around 10 at the shop unless you've got a better place to meet picked out. I'll need to put gas in the bike too as I only added a gallon last week up in Haleiwa. (Didn't want to be propping up and r&r'ing a full tank when I did the mods.

Saturday is best for me.  Alex has Sunday off, so I would be best advised not to spend most of the day out with you goons.   Grin

It rained over here early this morning, surprise, surprise. We're going to breakfast now. Cloudy but no rain so far. I have to work on the 240D again this morning so let's see what happens after lunch.

THE ISLAND OF OAHU WILL START OFF RELATIVELY QUIET. THE AMOUNT OF
DAYTIME HEATING WILL DICTATE AFTERNOON CONVECTION OVER OAHU...IF
ANY. OTHERWISE...AS THE UPPER SHORTWAVE IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT EAST
THROUGH THE COURSE OF THE DAY. THE MOISTURE PLUME...SOUTHERLY
CONVERGENT FLOW...AND FAVORABLE DYNAMICS WILL FOLLOW SUIT BRINGING
THE ACTION OVER OAHU LATE THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING. WITH THE POTENTIAL
FOR FURTHER RAINFALL OVER THE ALREADY SATURATED GROUNDS...THE FLASH
FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH TONIGHT.

Great weather for a marathon in fact. It won't be killer hot.

So..... here it is a bit after 11am --- so far so good. I say let's get in a sneak run this afternoon capped off by a couple of brewskies before the rain comes again.  I installed the "silencer" pipe in the back of the Yoshi so I want to hear how that baby works, or not, this afternoon.
