I sure hope they plan that out well and spread everyone around. Otherwise, the island is likely to capsize and sink.

The weather folks aren't exactly forecasting dry weather for us this weekend.

Yeah, the usual venues look to be wet to damp at the very least...hopefully Sunday will be drier than the prognosticators are calling for...

As of this moment it doesn't look too good, unless you are a duck.

Another good ride for me today...wet in spots on Tantalus, but that just makes for more concentration and smoother execution...

Hey guys....new to the forums (as far as posting). What time do you usually do the Sunday rides at JJ?
derbying my little intro post here for all the Hawaii riders:
Hi all! Bought my first Monster (2010 696) back in April, and then in July, the following happened:
Ducati Monster kicked over.....$4k damage
Hard to watch I know. Best I can tell is that somebody kicks the rear tire, shifting the bike to the right, then, unsatisfied, they walk around and kick the bike over. I was at a concert while this happened, and I have the Scorpio R-1100 alarm so my phone lit up with about 8 text messages......"perimeter alarm", "perimeter alarm", "shock alarm", "shock alarm"......."tilt alarm"......
Never caught the guy, and $4k later (and two months) my baby is back to health.... new handlebar, mirror, right tank cover, new exhaust (upgraded to termis, was only $200 more to get the slip ons as opposed to replacing ONE stock can!), heat shields, brake pedal, etc, etc, etc.
At least now I know exactly "what the camera sees" so I know where to park the Duc the next time!! Still upset I never caught the guy.....and he better pray I never do!
Glad to have my bike back and be apart of the board!
Darren

I'm usually there between 8:30 & 9:00...there are folks there when I arrive, and some that come after...

It might be too early to tell but if yesterday's ride is any indication of the future then there may be two rides going on. One for the A team and one for the others. We might, or might not, meet up at the same place & time. We might, or might not, ride the same routes. I don't know if we'll ride together. Not a question of liking each other and getting along but rather a difference of extremes.

Though I missed yesterday's ride, I have been having the same thoughts...
