a couple buddies and i decided to make the short (12 hours) drive from boise, idaho to san fran. we're going to visit some friends and do some riding while we're down. i've read there's a meet every last thursday at zeitgeist (sp?) for the monster folks. i'm thinnking we're in for that. i'm on a 97 m900, and my two friends are on gsxr's. any suggestions while we're down? or tips for food, scenery, etc... we have a place to crash already, so we're golden on that. thanks!

Welcome!  Have you checked out the local resources thread yet?

Plenty of great riding, scenery, and food to be found in the area.  Are you staying in SF itself?

Welcome! We're always down for impromptu Zeitgeist nights...or watching races at the Ace Cafe...or impromptu rides...all while avoiding the local authorities Smiley

haha, yeah, i'm into metal. but not that kind of metal. i'm more into metalcore and new age stuff. we're going to catch darkest hour, bury your dead, stick to your guns, winds of plague, parkway drive, misery signals, arsis, arsonists get all the girls, after the burial, and abigail williams on the 31st. they're all plaing in san fran. at teh grand ballroom. it's gonna be a blast.

I'm the resident bum and do weekday rides all the time.  If you guys want to head out during the week (less traffic, very few  Police )  I wouldn't mind playing tour guide and showing you some of the best roads the bay has to offer.

I was helping put out fires in July.

No, I never heard back from that job posting.
