I was traveling in Vancouver last week and came across this parked on the street in front of our hostel/pub.  It had every carbon fiber component available, including tank, headlight fairing, beer tray, belly pan, cans.  I kept watching it to try and catch the owner, but it stayed put most of the night.  Figured somebody on here at least knows of it.

My local dealer here in the Bay Area built one of those late last year.  The full carbon fiber Monster was really cool looking.  I almost pulled the trigger on it before catching a glimpse of the Tricolore and then really losing my biscuit on that.  I think they sold it for a pretty fair price considering how much $$$ it cost to do everything over in CF.  I imagine they recouped some of the money by e-baying the stock stuff, but who knows.  I doubt it's the same Monster, but you never know . . .

There's a local one like that which I believe was done all in CF to show off what was in the DP catalog. Was sold for a nice price, assuming you like CF.

Just FYI, since your beer tray is gone it doesn't matter, but MonsterParts has some awesome carbon tail pieces.

Yeah, I just checked out their site.  Stupid me I didn't see the 'next' button at the bottom of the page on the previous visit.

I would like to find a rear hugger that covers more area besides the one they have on the website.  I like Celli's coverage but I think he's actually running 2 huggers attatched to each other.

Thats a cool looking bike.

I was considering that CF seat unit a while back. Every time I see one I get the itch once more.

The only issue is I've had some bad experiences with DP carbon.  Roll Eyes

I am from Vancouver Island, but often head over to the mainland. Cant say I have seen that one yet. A bit too much for me, but mucho $$$ to build I bet.

Carbon is the Chrome of the sport bike world.  Anything I can do to keep it off my bike, I will.  Whenever I see carbon on any bike (not just Ducs) that isn't strictly performance based I see it as an attempt at showing off....wait, why am I complaining?

Ok.  I dig it in moderation (i.e.- a front fender or the little side panels on the S4Rs) but unless you race (for the MINIMAL weight savings), the tank/cowl/rear fender is a bit much.  CF is glorified plastic.

... its one way to customize a bike.  But point taken; in being editorially provocative ....
