Went down to the laundry room this morning to find that one of my cats had pissed all over my riding pants. I tried to rinse it off with water but I think the damage is done. Any suggestions for how to get the funk out?

Cat piss is the worst.  I haven't had experience with it on leather, but I would say unless you can rise it out, they're probably done.

Let us know how cat tastes.

Burn them.
Cat piss is a pregnant dog to get rid of.
Hope someone else has a better idea though.

no suggestions, just sympathy.

grew up in a house full of cats, and yes, cat piss is a vile thing. once it's on something, you'll be hard pressed to make it go away. :P

there might not be one when my wife gets home tonight  [evil]

They are Dainese pants and the cheapest ones I can find that are comparable are $350 through Cycel Gear.

I stuck the pants in the laundry tub to try to rinse it off, so I will only know for sure when I get home tonight if they are ruined or not. I can always sell them on Ebay I suppose.

There is no getting rid of that smell.  Gotta burn the leathers now.

Fry up the cat in a wok with broccoli, green onions, garlic, red pepper and peanuts.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Quit showering yourself and eventually you won't notice the smell.

Go to a pet supply store and get a cleaner like one of the ones "trouble" posted.  Simple Solution, Nature's Miracle, they're all good.

Also, in general, to get rid of smells...put plenty of baking soda on/in the smelly area, let it sit (sometimes for days) and then remove it.
