I have seen vivaleduc's bike must say I LOVE it!!  applause

Update: I settled with insurance yesterday and I brought the bike home this afternoon; I just finished replaceing everything that needed to be replaced and adjusted the steering stop bolt thing so now the clip-ons wont slap the tank any more.

I have StateFarm insurance if anyone is wondering and they treated me like how they should have treated me for the amount of premium I pay for full coverage lol
Zero hassel with the claim agent where she told me everything up front and the next day we settled and I got the settlement check.

Now I'm just waiting for the front wheel and the left rotor to arrive, might take awhile so it'll give me some time to ponder what to do with my bike!

And a big thanks for the support from the NMMR!!!  chug

That's great Raz!  Remember to post pics of the progression on the restoration.  It's fun to see projects like that while they are happening. Smiley

I would like to thank everyone for their input and advice and I hope I put it to good use:
Decided to buy back the monster and settled with the insurance company today.
I'm not sure if I'll fix it up and keep it or make someone a great deal.
Also bought a 2008 1098S last Saturday since the price was right.

Update....
Removed damaged parts, replaced brake lever, was able to adjust frame tab setting to keep the handle bars from touching the tank. Chris tells me that he can get me the paint and parts needed to make to monster look like before.  waytogo

She's ALIVE!!!!!!!! Here's a teaser pic.

What I learned from this accident; ALWAYS pay attention, spend my attention on the right things, and leave all other thoughts at home when I ride.
I'm still young and have a lot of things to learn, this accident has been a good lesson for me to get a grip on the dangers of riding that is not associated with driving.
Now I just cant wait to get her fully ready for the road again!!

Cheers,  chug

Thanks for the compliments  waytogo
http://www.forged-wheel.com/Ducati.htm
They are the Carrozzeria Works Kit for the Paul Smart/Sport1000. The kit includes front and rear forged aluminum wheels, rear sporcket, and Brembo 4pison/4pad calipers, I also got their works front rotors to replace the bent oem ones. WOW the bike is a totally different beast now, turns fast stops fast and very stable through corners, also the Diablo Rossos compliments them very well.

I'm going to have PJ's flush the hydrolics and install new clip-ons before I hit the crest again. I'm going to ride the living hell out of it before the season is over lol

waytogo I wanted to know about the wheels the second I saw them as well. Cool beans I'm happy for you..... before you hit the hell out of the crest and a quick reminder to everyone. The air is getting colder and the pavement isn't seeing as much sun. This is the time of year it always seems like a lot of people start wadding. Keep in mind your tires won't get as warm and tacky so we gotta start slowing it down for the winter.  Tongue waytogo
