'A' Group made it to the the top of Johnston Ridge Observatory. 'B' group didn't even head into Washington??  It was 40 degrees at the top and then it poured down on me, the last 80 miles back. It was, however, a great ride... a lot of cool new faces. Why did it take us this long to plan a big group ride like this one?? Nice meeting you all.

B group thought all of the trust fund babies with their sparkly eye-talion sport bikes would head straight to the spa at the first sign of rain.

Musta been the Monster riders in the A group that shamed you all into continuing  . . .

Bwaaaa haaaaa haaaaaaa!

Good time guys. Nice to meet the new faces too. Once "B" group came out of that detour nuts and onto highway 30 we were a bit wet and I havn't been cold in months so we all decided to slab it down hwy 30 to NW 21st & Glisan for lunch.
I got 142 miles on my little outting. Good for you guys who went all the way through with the orig plan. I would have hated that in the conditions.

JBubble, post up whenever you want to get away for the Motherless domain you are staying at. I'll meet you along the way and we'll go cause trouble/fun/hooliganism  Smiley -billy

Thanks to all of you for showing me what a group ride is really supposed to be like. Yeah it was a damp in places and a little chilly at the top and I got fracking soaked in Vancouver, but it was still better than most my past group rides. Great road, no failures, no ambulances, and only a little harassment (spooge in blue Mini needs his tires slashed) Actually, thinking on it, it IS the best group ride I've ever been on.

I would be happy to ride with you characters anytime. Hope the feeling is mutual.

No one tell him about the "reverse shifting" issue.  Actually, let's not tell anyone . . .  Grin

And thank you Jacob for going to Louisiana to support the hurricane victims. He is our own Super Hero  waytogo

JBub, thanks for bringing his bike out. I was unaware that it could actually ride down the highway with us.

Again, if you get bored out there this week in the evenings I would be happy to show you around and hang out.

Why are you staying up in Esticada if Jacob is out of town?  Come down and sleep on the couch, play with the dogs, and watch movies, or surf the net all day at our house.  At least we have city lights down here.
