I went out to watch a movie and eat dinner w/ the gf and when we got back there were at least a dozen cops outside the back of her apt complex wandering around w/ their guns drawn. Did we miss something? For having their guns out they didn't look very attentive. Roll Eyes Musta been the end of something. This was out by the South Bay Galleria behind the Carmax.

They supposed to duck walk swat style whenever they clear leather?  Smiley Probably just looking for some thug that ran from them and were coming to the conclusion that he was in the wind.

No, not expecting some swat style stance or anything fancy like that but in a group of 6 officers, the front 2 had their guns up ready to shoot and the guy in the back was just walking around with his gun in his hand like a little kid does when he runs around the house.  The guy with a rifle was just starting at the sky like he was thinking and wasn't really paying attention to anything.  Roll Eyes

It was pretty nice outside too. When I space out at work all I get to look at is an acoustic tile ceiling.  Sad At least I get a nice chair though.

Easy there I'm in Torrance....... Grin

As to the Torrance PD.... they are the $hit..... no slow speed pursuits here..... they shoot first & ask questions later.

Needless to say I feel very sasfe in my West Torrance/Redondo adjacent suburb laughingdp

Forgot a couple other positives about the Torrance PD...... very Moto friendly & they don't have a decibel meter so no fix-it tickets for the Arrows waytogo
