Title: Ain't life grand on a Monster....... Post by: Big T on August 29, 2008, 01:32:56 AM Well after 2 months of being tucked up in the corner of the garage the Monster was back on the road today. A couple of hours on the trickle charger and the baby fired up on the first touch of the starter.
A quick "slow" ride up and down McCarr Creek road and man it felt good.... Just need to get back into the swing of things but just like riding a bike really..... ;D Off to the old Pacific Highway tomorrow morning at 8:00ish before I hit Mecca's at 11:00ish...... I hadn't ridden it for 2 months, got back from Oslo, and in the cool Canberra morning it started after 5 seconds of cranking. I have to say I am blown away by the performance increase with the pipes, I really have to spend some time on the bike learning its behaviour again. Power wheelies are plentiful. [evil].
