I have always wanted to go as Quato from Total Recall. You could use a doll, or even your daughter in a front harness ( I know that the harness idea probably wouldn't work for long, but would be an unreal costume!!)

If you are going to be somewhere where people are cool go as  a Blind Gynocologist.  Get some scrubs, a pair of those dark glasses they give you at the eye doctor, a blind cane, and finally a sign that says" I read lipps".  People will either love it or think it is disgusting either of which is fine by me. [thumbsup]

Another easy one to do is a cave family.  Just go to a fabric store and buy a length of fake fur and cut out wraps for all of you, tie at the waist and shoulder with some rope and voila!  Cave Man, cave mom, and cave baby.  You can also cover your shoes with some of the fur, and get some fake plastic bones for your wife and daughter to put in a pony tail on top of their heads like Pebbles Flintstone.

my daughter is now too old for my favorite idea...works for kids still small enough to be carried easily...like one year-olds.


her:  baby seal costume with cute hood.  all white.

me:  hip waders, a club, and a string of cute stuffed animal baby white seals.

wife:  dressed to the nines in a fur coat (fake if needed).


Wife vetoed the idea last year when it would have worked well.

i dont' think he has time to grow the beard, but i'd be willing to let him borrow some clothes

I am going to this Alice in Wonderland Party but it suppose to be really Dark in Nature.

Not the Disney version. More like if Tim Burton got his hands on the characters. Isin't he making a Alice In Wonerland soon?

In anycase I dont know which character I am going to be yet.

alice on PC was a pretty... dark... game. that might give you some ideas  [thumbsup]

I am trying to convince my wife to let me dress up my nine-month-old as Amy Winehouse, which will just mean the infant rocker outfit, a fauxhawk,  and a label on her sippy cup "WHISKEY".

If I had a baby son, and a lot of time to prepare, I might go as Master Blaster from Mad Max.

Douchebag is a fanastic idea for a costume.  Popped collar, spray tan, hat cocked to the side.

I stay home.  Maybe dress in full leather one piece.

nah, i wasn't going to do that costume.

i was debating being a hot beef injection.
i could make a syringe costume pretty easy, it would be conveying the beef part of it that would be tough. (and no, i'm not going to buy 40lbs of ground beef to wear as part of a costume)

If I could find that costume I so would-that guy is the scariest mothermake the beast with two backser ever.

I was thinking Naked Snake from MGS3. Army surplus camo and gear, bandana, eye patch, five o-clock shadow. I vaguely resembled Snake when my hair is long.

I had a discussion with some friends, we came up with some interesting ideas. Mainly pirates. I thought of a pirate outfit with double hook hands and two eyepatches (insert some black translucent cloth so you can see) or a cyberpunk pirate with a dollar store laser pointer installed in the eyepatch. You could get some laughs by strategically aiming the laser at inappropriate spots.

Those two eyepatches can double as a top if you find the right girl.

My wife roped me into going to a kids/parents party, so I think i'll go as Carl. These people are as square and white as Wonder bread, so they probably wouldnt get it anyway. I hate kid parties.

you have to get "2 wicked" stickers made for the car. bonus points if it's a minivan and you leave them on there for a while.


i had another creepy costume idea. the guy from the sham-wow commercials. i'm working on the accent, but i think i could pull it off. i just need some towels to try and sell to people.

Dude I love this idea.  Do the syring part with clear plastic and wear a cow costume undreneath.  Some paper fire on your legs would finish it off nicely.

His wife was the Pocahontas rip off - a good combo, stereotypical native woman with over-the-top military lunatic.

Brock Samson would kick ass. Just go without a shirt covered in blood. Don't forget the hockey hair!

My wife made a squid costume for one of her girlfriend's kids last week. I bet she could make me an Early Cuyler costume and make a Lil costume for herself and we could be SquidBillies. She likes that show as much as I do.

Crash Test Dummy was a personal fave. Attach the springy eyes of the common toy glasses to the mask, add several  [drink] and you didn't need to explain your bumps and stumbles.  ;D   

Today I figured out my costume. Chef's uniform with a crock pot strapped on. Fill crock pot with unwrapped Baby Ruths. Now It's a crock 'o shit and I'm the bailout!
