Title: Re: Electric Superbikes Post by: Super T.I.B on December 02, 2008, 07:27:01 PM I just realised that the starting grid would be rather quite before the green light. Very weird No. It would be mandatory for the riders to all scream out 'Brum, Brum, Brum. [laugh] who a i kiddin! half the reason I bought a duke is coz of "that" sound. Why would I take that away! besides, as an electrician I know that electricity is not the way forward ;D. True I'm a sparky too and used to work at a power station and if you've ever seen the rate that the coal goes into the furnaces (about 10 kg per second!) you'd realise also that electricity is not the way to go until we get serious about solar. We will need to consume on a mass basis to convert over to full electric, just like we do now with conbustion... we need a change but that aint it. - chris |
