Thank you. I second that.
Ducati 999? Wasn't that a monster?

S2R 1000
Which was misidentified as an S2R800 by someone about 10 responses down.
And, yeah, if she made clocks, they'd be

"last thing that went through their head... was their ass!" [laugh]
Here's my take:
She owns and loves her Ducati
Started out as a starving artist
Owns no four wheels or sold them to keep her Duc
Finally fed up after multiple failed attempts to sell her work at fairs
Not enough place to strap her unsold canvas
Decided to strap one in the front
Haul ass home to cry
....... *feel free to add on and or edit* ;D

When she took the paintings off the front, she noticed all the dead bugs.
Instead of feeling sick to her stomach, an idea was born.
Dead mice, larger insects don't sell as well- so the formula for success was born.
She now rides the highways riding our world of mosquitos.
tell me again what the make the beast with two backs I'm in school for? If I had only known, I'd have spent the tuition money on a half dozen motorcycles and ,you know, "experimented" with various "medium" and "processes". and I guess substantial track time would be in order, as a "variation of a theme". [laugh]
I GOT A NEW IDEA FOR ARTWORK FOR HER....
ride her bike through a gauntlet of us shooting paintballs at the canvas!!!
That would hurt but have an interesting painting & story!
JM
As an artist who actually works for a living (preproduction for advertising, television and movies) I'd normally be the first to viciously ridicule this woman, but, I gotta say; I kind of dig this wacky chick. She's funny, she rides a Ducati (with proper safety gear) and once in a while she must get some rich saps to buy her bug-art.
Fantastic!
Proper safety gear but she covers her headlight... ???
Personally, I want to be seen coming down the road.
Just sayin'
Yeah but in all fairness to the lady, she paints fish really well......(check her site)
That site's a derbyer! Derby on autoblog. I remember this lady came up before on TOB, some other mag did a piece on her
What one may consider art might not be to another. It lays in the eye of the beholder... and the price tag. It takes good marketing and a few wealthy beholder to raise the worthy-ness of a canvas. I'm sure one of us can think of another way to use of Duc to create art and sale it.
