Question:
Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow on Feb. 2, 2009?
Option 1: Yes! Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow and we will have to look at our garaged motos for 6 more weeks...
Option 2: No! Punxsutawney Phil won't see his shadow and we can look forward to an early riding season...
On February 2, Phil comes out of his burrow on Gobbler's Knob...
in front of thousands of followers from all over the world...
to predict the weather for the rest of winter.
According to legend, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow,
there will be six more weeks of winter weather.
If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring.
I don't know about the rest of you.... but I'm read for early spring [moto]
derby this every day for the next six months
[laugh]
The fate of my moto is determined by a large rat!
Bastard!
i'm gonna ride out there tomorrow. if the make the beast with two backser tries to go back inside i'm shooting him. i would eat him, but groundhogs arent' good to eat.
Punxsutawney Phil will come out and see boobies, but not his shadow ;D
Ever notice that six more weeks of winter and spring start at about the same time. Well, that's how it works here at least.
Cut his eyes out, voila instant spring!
You're not pet sitting for me.
Ever

However, all your roads just go around in a circle because you're on a stupid little island.
Plus they make you wear grass skirts, which is just dumb.
And no I'm not bitter....maybe just a little.

Screw you!!!! It's f*in' cold. Was at the bottom of the driveway chipping the ice skating rink that has pooled there. of course, it does improve the odds of hitting those three big oaks down there, but I'd still like it gone.

What's this about a groundhog? Just got back from a 200 mile ride with temps in the mid 70s and thought I would check the forum. Damn I'm exhausted. Time for a beer out on the porch.

It's simple, Yankees. Your body is 70% water. Water freezes where 6 months out of the year ya'll live. Maybe, just maybe, God doesn't want people to live there... :P

Not only was I flipping through the channels to find what on FX?
Even more bizarre... at the same point in the movie as the clip I posted yesterday.

i love his comment on the groundhog "a terrorist rodent..."
"So Bloomberg tried to lure him out with a corn cob.
The 10-pound critter just snatched the cob and retreated into his home.
There then followed an undignified tussle over the corn cob between mayor and varmint. "
