On February 2, Phil comes out of his burrow on Gobbler's Knob...
in front of thousands of followers from all over the world...
to predict the weather for the rest of winter.

According to legend, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow,
there will be six more weeks of winter weather.

If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring.

I don't know about the rest of you.... but I'm read for early spring  [moto]

i'm gonna ride out there tomorrow. if the make the beast with two backser tries to go back inside i'm shooting him. i would eat him, but groundhogs arent' good to eat.

Ever notice that six more weeks of winter and spring start at about the same time. Well, that's how it works here at least.

Screw you!!!!  It's f*in' cold.  Was at the bottom of the driveway chipping the ice skating rink that has pooled there.  of course, it does improve the odds of hitting those three big oaks down there, but I'd still like it gone.
