Title: Motopia??? Post by: GeorgeInDallas on February 12, 2009, 02:44:03 PM I went by Motopia today at 3 p.m. to see Jason and the whole place was dark. Anybody have any facts on the place or on Brother Rene? Are they still in business?

I hope the membership deal hasn't done them in. I wasn't interested in that but I certainly was prepared to give them my business whenever I could. Great place for a race watch get together. I hope all is well with them. Damn economy!!! Maybe Motopia needs a stimulus check. [thumbsup]

Also, nothing against the place, but its a difficult location in a niche market to say the least. Odds were against that endevour being successful, but I admit it was a neat place to hang the hat for races and some lunch.

I worked in Richardson but now most of my meetings are downtown and around Addison area so motopia is close by ;) As for the house, it's Panther Creek like way north of Frisco almost before 380 ... Used to live uptown in a nice triplex but a g/f and 6 animals (3 cats + 3 dogs) forced us to relocate & build house in Frisco LOL looking fwd to hanging out w/you local guys :) Title: Re: Motopia???
