I went by Motopia today at 3 p.m. to see Jason and the whole place was dark.  Anybody have any facts on the place or on Brother Rene?  Are they still in business?

Thanks.

Wow, shouldn't have been lights out at 3:00pm on a Thursday. I hope the membership deal hasn't done them in. I wasn't interested in that but I certainly was prepared to give them my business whenever I could. Great place for a race watch get together. I hope all is well with them. Damn economy!!! Maybe Motopia needs a stimulus check. waytogo

Did that membership thing ever go through?  Also, nothing against the place, but its a difficult location in a niche market to say the least.  Odds were against that endevour being successful, but I admit it was a neat place to hang the hat for races and some lunch.

Hopefully it all works out for the best, but lights out during the week is no bueno.

Until further notice, our restaurant will now also be open to non-members during the week.  Come experience our great Club House and its great food.

Hmmm, it's that last paragraph there, the "Announcement" part, that's the most intersting to me.  At least mid-week lunches are now go  [moto]  Always liked their menu...

Sounds like good thinking on their part. Sure, special member only stuff and events but don't stop selling beer, coffee and food to the Slumdog non-members! Sorry, the Oscars are on in the other room and Slumdog is all I keep hearing. Tongue That movie just didn't spin my prop like everyone said it would. Oh well, back to food at Motopia. applause That's more important anyway.

Oscar night tonight?  I missed the most important day of the year?  what?

Ok so who wants to drop in on them this week and get the skinny?  I'm traveling until Tuesday through Thursday so I can only go tomorrow on my way down to Mansfield to see a bike......if anyone cares to join the fun and ride with.
