...I hope you didn't watch Jimmy Fallon! [puke]
This was absolutely the worst late night show I have ever seen. And that's saying something because I thought Conan was an idiot. How he was chosen to replace Leno has to be the biggest example of entertainment politics I have ever seen. Either that or he has pictures of someone important f*cking a goat.
Conan's the best. He makes fun of himself. You laugh at him. It's silly and obnoxious instead of pretentious and corny. His show is basically there to make fun of the other guys and show you how stupid talk shows really are.

I haven't seen the new show yet, but Fallon is about as funny as being forced to execute your mom.

that was awesome! thanks for sharing. "how do you feel about a golden shower." lmao.
Conan has been my favorite Late Night talk show host for a very long time.
I hope he will try to stick to his same style of humor in Leno spot if he can get away with it.
Was it as bad as Chevy Chase first show =)

Robert Deniro was not being a easy interview. He looked bored but what I really cant stand about Jimmy Fallon is his nervous energy he has all the time.
I am sure Conan sucked the first week also though.
i haven't watched the late night talk shows in a long time, but i liked Conan best when I did... [thumbsup]
When Conan started, I hated him because I was a big fan of Letterman. But, I decided to give him a chance after Dweezil Zappa told me he's actually a really funny guy and the show was going to get better (his band had made a couple of appearances and I asked after a show what the deal was and why he didn't do Letterman or something).
I got to the point I liked the show from time to time, but it was never my favourite. Now, Ferguson. His show I Tivo and watch every day. [thumbsup]
The sad thing is that I really like Fallon. I just didn't like his talk show.
Next to Jimmy Kimmel, Conan is the worst late night host in history.
Craig Ferguson is the best.

I have no desire to watch the Fallon bastardization of Late Night. Now, Conan is an ENTERTAINER, not what I would consider a "Talk Show Host". I love Conan and have to agree with a lot of the other guys here, best host since Carson...

Dude you must be smoking crack. ;D Conan is by far the best out there. Watch an actor on his show and then on Letterman or Leno. You can tell that they have a much better time and are more themselves with Conan.
I like Conan and Jimmy Kimmel...
no accounting for taste. ;)
Fallon knows the right people, said the right things and has the right politics. That's why he got the job.
He is funny to the snarky, limousine liberal set that is in NYC, but that's about it. The rest of the world pretty much sees him as this thread does...

If I
was smoking crack, then I
might think he was funny.

Fixed: subjunctive voice. ;D

1. Mood, not voice.
2. The non-reversible indicative "was" is interchangeable with "were" in the standard order.

Some needs to start a poll again and crown the Late Night winner.
I Cant seem to dig up my old poll but if I recall correctly Conan was the Winner [thumbsup]
How about Carson Daly? I always thought his show was pretty bad...

Odds on whether or not he wil outlast Chevy Chase's run?

Conan was already funny when he started the show (he wrote the "Marge Vs the Monorail" Simpsons episode after all), he just had to figure out how to be funny on a talk show. Jimmy Fallon will first need to figure out how to be funny...
fallon just makes it even easier not to watch.
