Title: Exhaust question Post by: Frisco on March 30, 2009, 06:49:14 AM I was the lucky owner of the FJR that got totaled in front of the Ducati dealship in Dallas on the 21st. As a result I was able to pick-up a brand new (OK it had 19 miles on it) 2006 ST3 over this past weekend. Great bike but I'm looking to add an exhaust and perhaps a smoked shield to start my farkling - looking for suggestions - I don't need to spend the $4 for a full Termi system but looking for alternatives/suggestions. Any ST forums out there?
Thanks. Title: Re: Exhaust question Post by: the_Journeyman on March 30, 2009, 07:07:40 AM I have Sil-Moto mufflers on my 900SS and the sound really nice and probably aren't near as spendy as Termt's.

Title: Re: Exhaust question Post by: Frisco on March 30, 2009, 10:27:28 AM ok gotta ask.. how the hell did you get a 2006 ST3 with 19 miles on it? The story was that this very wealthy individual in Houston bought it (7/06) for either his wife to ride or for her to ride with him - I think the former because he also has BMW 1200 GT - anyhow she didn't like it so it sat in his glass enclosed showroom. He traded it in on a new ConcoursWhen I took it for a test ride the original dealer was a block away so I popped in and verified it was purchased there - they said the guy has a ranch with climate controlled ponds and various fish - shows up there with his driver and his Rolls - the 'garage' has his various toys - Lambos, Ferrari's, etc. Too good a deal to pass up - figure worse case I could sell it for what I paid for it almost $4K less than MSRP Title: Re: Exhaust question Post by: junior varsity on March 30, 2009, 05:31:50 PM http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/docs/182/uncategorized/remus-st2-st3-closeouts.html (http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/docs/182/uncategorized/remus-st2-st3-closeouts.html)
