I was the lucky owner of the FJR that got totaled in front of the Ducati dealship in Dallas on the 21st.  As a result I was able to pick-up a brand new (OK it had 19 miles on it) 2006 ST3 over this past weekend.  Great bike but I'm looking to add an exhaust and perhaps a smoked shield to start my farkling - looking for suggestions - I don't need to spend the $4 for a full Termi system but looking for alternatives/suggestions. Any ST forums out there?
Thanks.

I have Sil-Moto mufflers on my 900SS and the sound really nice and probably aren't near as spendy as Termt's.

If I were in your shoes, I'd spring for a set of Leo Vince slip-ons and a Fat Duc O2 Manipulator.  Also, check out www.ducati.ms for some more ST-oriented posting.

The story was that this very wealthy individual in Houston bought it (7/06) for either his wife to ride or for her to ride with him - I think the former because he also has  BMW 1200 GT - anyhow she didn't like it so it sat in his glass enclosed showroom. He traded it in on a new ConcoursWhen I took it for a test ride the original dealer was a block away so I popped in and verified it was purchased there - they said the guy has a ranch with climate controlled ponds and various fish - shows up there with his driver and his Rolls - the 'garage' has his various toys - Lambos, Ferrari's, etc.
Too good a deal to pass up - figure worse case I could sell it for what I paid for it almost $4K less than MSRP

Get a deal on some nice Remus closeouts from Chris.

And, you're welcome.

see now that is what i'm looking for. the $1 jag the exwife won in the divorce sold off to piss off her exhusband. or the guy who finds a brand new lotus for the price of taxes alone cause the owner won it in a raffle and can't afford the taxes.

oh one day, one day. destiny will strike me too.

Hopefully not as hard as it struck the FJR...
