Actually that is a bit ridiculous to put an R8 in the mix.
When comparing similarly priced competitors that could be considered when shopping for a sports oriented , performance based car that looks like a car that one would find on any road in most any modern country, BMW 's Ad team has come up w, a very clever Ad campaign.

HP 354 414

Huh? Are you you talking about the Audi? Have you ever driven in fog? Fog lights installed from the manufacturer are aimed properly to hit the ground about 30 feet in front of the car. Why should they be banned?
Fog lights that aren't there for bling purposes or those installed by wanna-be ricers to blind oncoming traffic are useful. I just installed a set on my truck. They're aimed slightly outward and drop to illuminate the road instead of reflect into my face like headlights do.
JM
I use my fog lights a lot, they are great not only for fog, but also for driving on unlit twisty roads at night and you can't use your high-beams because of oncoming cars. [thumbsup]

427's have very thin cylinder walls. You can't bore it past 0.030". Anything Ford and Big-Block within easy reach of 560cid would have to be based on the 385 series engines (429/460). Which would likely be the case considering the extensive suspension mods needed to handle those tires...
