It was a great race to watch, the two of them out front looked like they were just having fun on a bit of road.
The last three laps when they turned the wick up were just out of control!

Yeah a ban is a little much but if you are posting things about races Moto GP or WSBK
It is normally polite to put spoiler in the subject for those who have recorded it and are waiting to watch it.

what has made bazz hot under the collar is some one being  told they will be banned for talking about bike racing on a bike forum thats abuse of power and if no one else has the balls to say so and support a fellow oz monster i find that appalling, and for the person who complained to the mods make the beast with two backsing get a life if you dont want to no the results stay away and put some rules up in oz monsters.org for people coming on the forum that dont know ,but it was on all the news first thing  [bang] oh by the way thanks matty   ps watch out dock i thought nude photos were banned  [thumbsup]

And what was with Casey (remember I've only seen highlights)  so far behind and a face like thunder on the podium.  So I'm guessing he's pissed at the bike as he usually shows good sportmanship when someone else wins.

I think you'll find most bike forums will have the same rules about spoilers, some peolpe have to record and watch later for different reasons but still want to visit their favorite forum without having the race spoilt. If you must have the results, there would be other places you could find it...

I just watched the race. OMFG that was awesome. Jorge has great composure, I think he might have been just a shocked about that last corner. The reaction from Rossi's garage was hilarious.

Casey looked sick as a dog at the end in the stairwell, on the podium and in the interview. Hope he doesn't have the  [bacon] [bacon] [bacon] Flu...

Three way tie for 1st position on the MotoGP leaderboard, Assen will be HUGE.


Oh and don't worry about the spoiler thing pigmy, you live and learn about posting results. It's happened before, it will almost undoubtedly happen again.

I spend the entire day not watching TV, reading papers or the checking the internet if I can't watch race live till the next day. Hell, you can't even discuss the results with some people a *week* after the race (cough Mostro cough)  [cheeky])

Yep Craigo, that dive was Farking crazy I think Jorge was just shocked by the fact it stuck.
I've just spent the last day watching the Le Mans 24hr coverage from One HD. But that's another story.

My GF sat and watched the last 15 minutes of the race (she's not a GP fan) and she was shouting & ooohhhing & aaaarrring till the finish...  [clap]  [popcorn]

Personally I avoid the forum, internet, tv news etc if I haven't watched it and don't want to know the results. But I usually avoid the need by staying up and watching it when its on.  [coffee]

Bazz's frustration is partly my fault as I sent him the first race on DVD but haven't got to sending him anymore.

I also think the confusion over his "piss off" comment is a cultural diff with our US based mods. Although it appears a bit sharp, I think it was said tongue in cheek. I don't think any of the aus members take it seriously if you've read any of Bazz's other posts but I agree with putting spoiler alert in the title.

All the fist shaking about the man keeping you down is very unappealing. ;)

Problem is you now need an invite to download from Racing Underground and you have to seed as much as you leech.
Otherwise you run the risk of getting the boot.

We love the flounders  [bow_down] and are generally fairly nice and self regulating here in OzMonsters IMHO (unlike some other sections like say ermm NoMotoContent (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=16.0)).

that's it in a nutshell, the seppos don't get our sense of humour. the banter that goes on here (in the aussie section) is our vernacular, we get very comfortable talking amongst ourselves within our culturally established boundaries. i don't know about anyone else but i tend to watch my "P"'s and "Q"'s a lot more on the main site, easy to be misunderstood and offend, which isn't cool, nor is it intentional.
Mods should really have more insight into these little corners of the site before they wade in heavy handed, we are after all on the other side of the world upside down.

p.s, the yamaha's are better, and i think lorenzo will occupy rossi's head more than rossi will admit, but being a one eyed ducati fan i'm optimistic stoner will do the business. Dunno how vince can say stoner should harden up though, he rode through pain race after race with his wrist last year and rode his heart out at catalunya, everyone falls victim to injury or a bug, cut him some slack, he's still joint leader!

Then last night I couldn't sleep, I probably got a couple of hours at the most, and after just a couple of laps this morning I was destroyed. I decided to race myself, basically, and bring home as many points as I could manage but my bike was fantastic and that is why I was able to ride it to a really valuable podium.  I started to suffer from really strong cramps and I could barely ride - I was falling over the front of the bike in the hard-braking areas and I was struggling to keep my concentration. I thought about stopping but decided to just back off for a while and try to hang on for a top ten. The bike was so good that I was able to keep up a decent pace and hold off Dovizioso.
