Love watching the cultrual divide in action here guys. America and Australia - two countries separated by a common language
Mods - we luv ya
but we don't take kindly to authority. Ask the English about it...but then again, you guys have your own history of rebellion too, don't you?
that's it in a nutshell, the seppos don't get our sense of humour. the banter that goes on here (in the aussie section) is our vernacular, we get very comfortable talking amongst ourselves within our culturally established boundaries. i don't know about anyone else but i tend to watch my "P"'s and "Q"'s a lot more on the main site, easy to be misunderstood and offend, which isn't cool, nor is it intentional.
Mods should really have more insight into these little corners of the site before they wade in heavy handed, we are after all on the other side of the world upside down.
paul.
p.s, the yamaha's are better, and i think lorenzo will occupy rossi's head more than rossi will admit, but being a one eyed ducati fan i'm optimistic stoner will do the business. Dunno how vince can say stoner should harden up though, he rode through pain race after race with his wrist last year and rode his heart out at catalunya, everyone falls victim to injury or a bug, cut him some slack, he's still joint leader!

I've worked in the US and let me tell you, it REALLY easy to be misunderstood!.......

You're kiddin, aren't ya?
50 degree track temperature, wearing leathers/helmet, sick as a brown dog & riding a fire breathing Duc!
Yeah, Stoner's real soft. I would say he is well 'ard.

Ditto and double ditto.... Did you see him on the podium??? I thought he was gunna faint, throw up or both
He was totally spent...
"Quote Casey"
Then last night I couldn't sleep, I probably got a couple of hours at the most, and after just a couple of laps this morning I was destroyed. I decided to race myself, basically, and bring home as many points as I could manage but my bike was fantastic and that is why I was able to ride it to a really valuable podium. I started to suffer from really strong cramps and I could barely ride - I was falling over the front of the bike in the hard-braking areas and I was struggling to keep my concentration. I thought about stopping but decided to just back off for a while and try to hang on for a top ten. The bike was so good that I was able to keep up a decent pace and hold off Dovizioso.

instead of little....perhaps an animal of some variety may help push that into a better insult....giraffe or elephant...
and change grotty to filthy, dirty or disgusting....
so
piss off you dirty litlle elephant wanker
but...calling a bloke little is probably the harshest part of that whole insult

Well that was an interesting read (I think I am now up-to-date).
No wonder things had been a bit quiet around here lately ... four flounders all posting in one little Ozmo thread must be some sort of record. Maybe next time somebody should post up a thread 'Arsey move from Rossi on last lap sees him to victory' and we could go for the full set
Oops, sorry that should have been 'SPOILER: Arsey move from Rossi on last lap sees him to victory'.
Sincere apologies to sensitive souls, but it is the Ozmo DMF ... I didn't think we were allowed to take anything seriously around here

Tomorrow night?
If it is, thanks for the heads up, I think I made the same mistake last year! It's going to be a great weekend, WSBK & MotoGP. [moto]
