Option 2: 2009 1100

for the same out the door price: 2007 monster s4r without 600mi and 7500mi free service, or 2009 monster 1100 includes free 600mi and 7500mi? these are both brand new and are not "S" models.
S4R [thumbsup]
very different animals. We can't decide for you.
Flip a coin...heads 4 valve, tails two valve. If it's heads and you're tempted to make it two out of three you know you want the two-valve more.
If you can get a new 07' S4R, I suggest you get that one. Cuz if you buy the 1100 and decide that you do not like the styling, you may not ever get the chance to own a new S4R. I am not even sure they exist. How did you find one?
I got the last S4Rt around in NY in March. Duc SoHo had a Tricolore but I didn't want to spend the extra dough on that. Get the S4R IMO. I rode the 1100s, although it had plenty of power, the s4r blew it away. I also thought I would outgrow the 1100 as I'm going to start some doing some track days. The S4R I feel is going to be a sought after monster in years to come. I'll be happy rubbing it in everyones face that I have one when it is.
They are similar bikes though. If you can ride them both definitely do so, just go with your gut.
Tough choice (S4R). All we can tell you is what we would do (S4R). Take the time to ride both and see which one feels better to you. Then make your choice (S4R). Don't let us try (S4R) to (S4R) influence you (S4R) either way (S4R). I have my opinion (S4R), but would never try (S4R) to impose it on you. Good luck!

does $10500 OTD sound like a deal?
I don't know enough to speak for the price but I know thats probably my favorite color combo on the monsters. [evil]
Pics or it doesn't exist.
Nice!!! You paid less for your S4R than I paid for my 08' S2R. You should be very happy.

I love that color combo!
I can't believe that thing sat unsold for 2 years!
nice choice
BEAUTIFUL!! Congrats. [thumbsup]
Now clean up that garage! [laugh] [laugh]
Congrats, sweet bike. [moto]
I think that is one of my favorite monsters ever. Nice choice. Nice bike!
Congrats and good choice. I don't think you'll regret the choice!
Congrats Man! Good luck with here. Treat her like the exotic lady she is and she'll return the favor. I got the same bike, same price in March. I couldn't believe it was sitting the the showroom for 2 years either. Best color combo ever. Just a heads up though, my tank is expanding already. So keep an eye on it. Your under regular warranty for 2 years so it's a lot easier to get taken care of. Stupid corn gas. Here's a pic of mine:

Congrats and sweet deal. Enjoy making her your own and keep us updated on your planned mods!!
Very good choice! I have the same, bought in early 2007 and got ripped off on the price...but I wanted it in that color scheme...14,000. Would rather put the money up, rather than regretting it later! [thumbsup]
Id take the 1100.
did tons of mods...pics coming soon.
Good choice! Now start modding it!
I was faced with the same choice a couple months ago and went with a beautiful blue S4R with 1400! mi. I can't believe that it sat in someone's garage for 3 years! before being traded at the dealer! It's practically a new bike and a freakin rocket. I love it more than any bike i owned.

Yep for $10.5K is a deal. That's some serious deep sump goodness. [thumbsup]
