for the same out the door price: 2007 monster s4r without 600mi and 7500mi free service, or 2009 monster 1100 includes free 600mi and 7500mi? these are both brand new and are not "S" models.

very different animals.    We can't decide for you.

Flip a coin...heads 4 valve, tails two valve.   If it's heads and you're tempted to make it two out of three you know you want the two-valve more.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

If you can get a new 07' S4R, I suggest you get that one. Cuz if you buy the 1100 and decide that you do not like the styling, you may not ever get the chance to own a new S4R. I am not even sure they exist. How did you find one?
08' S2R 1K   That was close  damn near lost a $400 hand cart.

I got the last S4Rt around in NY in March.  Duc SoHo had a Tricolore but I didn't want to spend the extra dough on that.  Get the S4R IMO.  I rode the 1100s, although it had plenty of power, the s4r blew it away.  I also thought I would outgrow the 1100 as I'm going to start some doing some track days.  The S4R I feel is going to be a sought after monster in years to come.  I'll be happy rubbing it in everyones face that I have one when it is.

They are similar bikes though.  If you can ride them both definitely do so, just go with your gut.

Tough choice (S4R).  All we can tell you is what we would do (S4R).  Take the time to ride both and see which one feels better to you.  Then make your choice (S4R).  Don't let us try (S4R) to (S4R) influence you (S4R) either way (S4R).  I have my opinion (S4R), but would never try (S4R) to impose it on you.  Good luck!

Nice!!! You paid less for your S4R than I paid for my 08' S2R. You should be very happy.
