I know things like this probably makes your brain cells spin [moto]
Single tube frame, reverse clip ons - outside the box, isn't that what makes things evolve?
A penny for your thoughts.....
WTF is that? ???
looks like moto soft-serve lol
I am, however, seriously intrigued by this. [thumbsup]
Is that like the motorcycle equivalent of this?

;D
Now that's RAM air.
Wow, that's rough. Ignore the haters, Terblanche :-\
[puke] :-X
kinda hard to get an actual feel for the bike, the fish eye lens that took that picture kinds bends the image, for all we know its not as stubby as you think.
Looks very similar to the Aprilia that I saw there in '07. I'll try to find pics when I get home.
The front end of the bike is special... reminds me of TIMMY!!!
TIMMY!!!!!!!!

not much rake...
I dont think his lower triple is stout enough.
ML gives it [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
and a fist full of [bacon]
I like!
I've been pondering this a bit... you kind of need that very steep rake to offset your total lack of leverage with that bar set up. From those pix, it seems like your hands are pretty much inline with the center of the fork tubes. I guess that long pull back, um, thing, would give some leverage, maybe more than I think... but I still wonder what it's like to control.

I saw it there... glad someone got a pic 'cuz i didnt see it on sunday.
inside the scoop were the projector headlights...
it was weird to say the least
the pic also doesnt show the 240 width tire
on the front
(i liked it a lot better than the Busas with neon/vid screens/speakers in the side fairings that were on cannery row)
Errr..... don't the ball mounts on the bars suggest you fold them out before riding? Anyone see it being ridden?
Not to me. There isn't enough range of motion to fold them out into a positions that's at all natural for a human. Just by eyeballing it, out would place your hands so the left pointed at 10 and the right at 2, if you had your thumb stuck up [thumbsup]
As they sit in the photo it's a more natural position.
Also, if the ball mounts were free to move... that'd make it super hard to control since you'd loose any rigidity in the controls
Plus: the piss-cups are horizontal as is, so any 'unfolding' wouldn't help the fluid level :)
Controls make me think it should gain altitude if you pull back hard. Also sort of bring to mind:

Don't suppose anyone has a picture of this bike that wasn't taken through the bottom of a glass coke bottle?
Just because you can do something, does not mean you should...

LOL!
I bet it runs into trees just as effectively as a speeder bike, too. Now, if it just had lasers...
We were trying to figure out its weight... The owner said it was WAY light, like 800lbs.
Bet its way fast too!
Ok now THAT is a real custom... he made everything on it... one giant hunk at a time!
here is another angle of it... (http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs017.snc1/4510_88644476436_687011436_2396286_7065440_n.jpg)

I would love to see more production bikes like this... things that push the envelope of design... not just the same old...

For all the insanity it dooes have a cool Tron like appeal. Very SciFi.... oh wait I mean Syfy
So what's the pill looking thing with the black clamp? It seems that the gas fill is up in that recess, so that pill's probably not gas. It's got some tubing on it as a guage... though it looks dark - maybe oil tank?

It's an interesting concept. About 80% there and the remainder 20% needs refinement. But then again I don't agree with many folks in terms of design language, fabrication or how things are built. Stepping outside the "normal" in the motorcycle world isn't easy with everyones perceived ideas of what the ideal motorcycle is. Glad to see it built though and being ridden. Fabrication work looks pretty nice from the pictures.
If anyone has more pics -- please post.

my guess was oil tank...
Ok everyone just stop. That thing is make the beast with two backsing stupid and we should all walk away and stop talking, looking or thinking about it now.
why would we do that?
I've never seen anything like that before and I think it rocks. I'd love to see more pics of it and of the build process...
Looks like an oil tank to me...
Some pics I snapped of it at the 2008 International Moto Show in San Mateo CA.
Looked like it had a camera at the end of the seat pointing out the back.

Definitely weird (the responsible party should cut back on the LSD), but I'll give the guy an A for effort. Lots of pretty darn impressive fab work. [thumbsup]
What's it powered by? Twin? Four? Coal? Steam?
dude.
the more pics I see, the more I'm digging all the little details along with the big wierdness of it
[thumbsup] [thumbsup]
I'd love to see it in action, though
and where the hell is the exhaust? ???

I can see just enough of the engine case on the left side shot, under the ?oil tank? to recognize an Aprilia/Rotax V990 in there.
